Ok I just need to acknowledge that Martha (Stewart) posted about Mast (shop in Bedford) after I did. This is the second time Martha and I have a similar thought process. Finally saw Azi- you may know her on IG as AziBrow. (This may or may not be a love letter to her) here are the takeaways:

A brow tint goes a looooong way. Why have I been sleeping on it for this long??? Makes you look alive. I will be tinting them myself moving fwd.
Typology serum at night and morning time for optimal growth. Also goes on underneath brow gel always.
Not only did she tint and shape me to the gods. It felt like she opened up my forehead? (with shaping). Also she separated my right eyebrow from my hairline. Who knew & thank god.
The only brow pencil she’s letting her gals use these days is the Victoria Beckham one because it’s gel based. She also suggested their tinted brow gel.
For clear gel- Jones Road. Azi was the one that put me onto Rose inc gel that I still loooooove but she thinks they might change formula in the future so obviously I stocked up. (I also was not gonna pay $18 for shipping so obvi I got 2 to get free shipping)
Make gel for more of a night time intense look. I never thought I’d have this many brow things/preferences but she’s right.
Obagi for extreme growth. (Spendy but I like to commit and test things) Feels like the big guns. I’ll be continuing my typology and make beauty serums.
*I keep brow/ lash serums next to toothbrush so I don’t forget to use. My theory for this is you always condition your hair (I hope)- not just when it’s in bad shape. So why are we not conditioning brows and lashes? Anyways. Will report back on the expensive serum.
Again she isn’t your girl you’re going to every couple of weeks. She’s gonna set you up for success long term and you’ll see her a couple times of year max (I think). I’m into low maintenance beauty treatments as long as you’re educated on at home maintenance (which she will def tell you). I also <3 a plan. If you’re in the market for a brow person & wanna treat yourself Azi is your girl :)

Spoke to an astrocartographer for the first time and found some fun stuff out. They basically run your birth chart on different parts of the world and see what places resonate the most with you. Obviously I asked about career and romance. NY seems to be good for both but some interesting stuff going on in London/Paris. I won’t get too deep but it’s fun to see how your birth chart changes according to geography. Explains why we feel like certain versions of ourselves while traveling. For example I’m a cancer rising in Paris rather than Aries rising (which makes sense- to me at least). Anyways if you’re looking to relocate or just want to spend more time/exploring elsewhere I would recommend a reading. I liked who I saw but wasn’t completely mind blown. (Idk if it’s supposed to be that kind of thing) A fun thing to do/gift. *Respond/comment if you want their info as idk how I feel about posting someone’s phone # :) you also get a recording and copies of charts.
Went to JINsoon on Walker St. after work for a last minute gel mani. Straight to the point. Quick. A bit overpriced but no notes. Bonus points because I walked in without an appointment and they removed my gel properly without any damage. Clean. Good selection of colors.
Got an iv drip at clean market. This was my second time with them & was very happy. Easy. Close to work. Love that you can browse their beauty/wellness before/ after. I haven’t tried any of their other services but hoping to in the future. Also lmk if there are other IV places or ppl you like.
